“The subject of the above notice, Mrs. Anne E. Bronaugh was the daughter of Colonel Daniel and Sarah McCarty, of Cedar Grove, and the granddaughter of Colonel Daniel McCarty of Mount Air, and Colonel George Mason, of Gunston Hall, Fairfax county, Va. Both her grandfathers were of Revolutionary memory. She was married to John W. Bronaugh on the 27th of October, 1803.
