Burial will take place in Fountain Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Nell, a resident of Lafayette, LA and originally from Iota, LA was the daughter of the late Ulysse Leger and the former Clara Reed. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
She is survived by her five daughters, Lorraine Liebert, Cynthia Robertson and her husband Harold, Katherine Liebert, Mary Ellen Liebert, and Julie Turner and her husband Kenneth; her three sons, Fred Liebert, Jr., Michael Liebert and his wife Kathleen, and Ralph Liebert and his wife Wendy; her thirteen grandchildren, Jennifer Landry, Molly Landry, Jessica Liebert, Clara Liebert, Kristopher Turner, Katelyn Turner, Matthew Turner, Samuel Turner, Nathan Gibson, Christopher Liebert, Leslie Liebert, Conner Liebert and Adrienne Liebert; her four great grandchildren, Benjamin Liebert, Savannah Liebert, Travis Liebert and Violet Liebert; her two sisters, Jeannette Firmin and Jolene Martin and her husband Ronnie; her brother, Mitchell Leger and his wife Carol.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, LT. Col. Fred M. Liebert, USAF (Retired), her loving aunt Delaide Reed, and twelve half sisters and brothers.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand Drive on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited on Friday evening at 6:30 pm in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 8:00 am until the time of service.
