Kaye "Granny" Reno Williamson, 63, of Amarillo died Saturday, July 12, 2014.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bell Avenue Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.

Kaye Reno Williamson was born Aug. 30, 1950, in Amarillo to Francis and Vergie Crowell Reno. She graduated from Tucumcari High School in 1968 and attended West Texas State University.

Kaye worked as an office manager for Dr. Pedro Hernandez for many years. Lovingly known as Granny, her passion was her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, artwork and working on the computer.

She was preceded in death by her dad; her husband, Jimmy Williamson; three brothers, Jerry, Mike and C. L. Reno; and a sister, Shannon Lynn Statt.

Survivors include her mother, Vergie Reno Statt of Tucumcari, N.M.; a daughter, Amy Williamson and husband Daniel Guerra; a son, David Williamson and wife Deena; a brother, Glenn Reno of Tucumcari; four grandchildren, Courson and Cale Williamson and Zachary and Joshua Guerra; a nephew, Jonathan Reno and family; and many other nephews, nieces and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 841125, Dallas, TX 75284.
