JAMES EDWARD ANDERSON
After a brief illness at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 15, 1988, James Edward Anderson of L'Etang, in his 67th year. Son of the late Albert E. Anderson and Miltilda E. (Strickland) Anderson of Burgeo, Nfld. He was the captain of the Hillbert M., employee of Connors Bros. for the past 33 years.

He was a member of St. Marks Anglican Church, St. George. He served during the Second World War in the Royal Canadian Merchant Marines and was a member of Royal Cdn. Legion #39.

Survived by his wife, Dorothy Madeline Hatt, two daughters, Susan Stewart of Medicine Hat, Alta., and Mrs. Kimberly (Jeffrey) Wilson of Saint John, four sons, Brian Of Lower L'Etang, Ronald of Sealy's Cove, Eugene and Wade both of L'Etang, three sisters, Lena (William) Fahey of Windsor, Ont. and Elsie (Robert) Petrie of Windsor, Ont., four brothers, Matthew Strickland of Halifax, NS., George, Donald, and Aubrey Anderson, all of Burgeo, Nfld. nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, predeceased by one sister, Martha and one brother Jack.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home with visiting hours on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1988 from 7-9 pm. and on Thurs. Nov. 17, 1988 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow in the St. George Rural Cemetery. Rev. Earl Hawks officiating.
