BEULAH MAE ACKERMAN MCKEE Beulah Mae Ackerman McKee beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Friday July 11, 2014, in Oroville, California, at the age of 95. Beulah "Bea" was born on November 9, 1918 in Bogard, Missouri, daughter of Lewis and Eva Lena (Marple) Ackerman. She was the youngest of six children. Beulah attended Rural School in Mandeville and Bogard High School, graduating in the class of 1936. She moved to Oakland, California in 1938. In Oakland, Beulah met and married Eugene Troy McKee, October 4, 1942. They moved to Oroville in 1946. For many years Beulah was a dedicated homemaker. After Gene's untimely death in 1969, she obtained her insurance license and continued operating the Gene McKee Insurance Agency. Beulah was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed playing pinochle with her dear friends and water exercises at the YMCA. Beulah was a member of the Orange Grove Rebekah Lodge #84 for over 50 years, serving as Noble Grand, Musician, and Chaplain. Beulah is survived by her son, Robert McKee, and daughters, Patricia (Martin) Wilson, and Pamela (Dennis) Jagoda; grandchildren, David Wilson, Elizabeth Wilson, John Wilson, Michael Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Daniel Jagoda, Jennie Jagoda, Lindsey Cluney, Allison Lanenga, Joshua Jagoda, Sarah Jagoda, Katelyn Partridge, Natalie Jagoda; eight great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, including Patricia Maxwell of Missouri. Beulah will be remembered for her kindness and devotion to family and friends. Services will be held on Thursday July 31, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel, 167 Table Mountain Blvd., Oroville, California. Visitation will be held at Scheer Memorial Chapel 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 30. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oroville, California.
