Born in Rochester NY, daughter of John McGinnis and Anna Stanley. She married Francis "Frank" Cassidy January 10, 1871 in St Augustine Church in Kalamazoo Michigan. They moved to Bliss Michigan in 1883. After Frank died she moved to Harbor Springs to be closer to family and died in harbor Springs. She is buried next to Francis "Frank" in Bliss Michigan.
