Lorraine Miller
MILLER, Lorraine – Age 75, of Wilbur, Oregon went to be with the Lord Friday, March 21, 1997. She was born May 28, 1921 in Hazelgrove, North Dakota to Fredreck and Christina (Kilpfel) Walz. Lorraine was united in marriage to Henry H. Miller on June 30, 1940 in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was a loving domestic goddess in her own home. She was involved in PTA and activities her children participated in such as Little League and Cub Scouts. Lorraine was a member of the Hucrest Community Church of God since 1949 and was very active in all areas of the church. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Henry Miller of Wilbur; a daughter, Crystal Miller of Wilbur, Oregon; three sons, Robert Miller and his wife Shelby of Roseburg, Oregon, Norman Miller and his wife Phyllis of Ashland, Oregon, and David Miller of Roseburg, Oregon; three sisters Artina Stohler of Fruitland, Idaho, Alice Shaffer of Coquille, Oregon and Ruby Skaggs of Reno, Nevada; a special sister-in-law, Beverly Garcia, seven grandchildren, Michelle Lancaster, James Miller, Carole Hobart, Barbara Miller, Bryce Miller, Marion Miller and Murray Miller; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Hilda Walz, Ida Stohler and Alma Cuff; four brothers, Albert, Irvin, Orville and Benjamin Walz. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 29, 1997 at the Hucrest Community Church of God at 2 pm with Pastors Paul Kendall, Earl Shaffer and Lorin Myers officiating. Those who wish may pay their respects on Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. and 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday. Final resting place will be in Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
