Cope - Leonard Crowl, 66, died Tuesday in an Orangeburg hospital. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, directed by Thompson Funeral Home. Mr. Crowl was born at Fayetteville, Tenn., a son of the late William Calvin Crowl and Mrs. Florence Mae Crowl. He was a dairyman and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Ettie Mae King Crowl of Cope; two daughters, Mrs. Danny Cherry of Rowesville and Mrs. Harry Drew of Bowman; three sons, Bobby Crowl of Bowman, James Crowl of Chester and Alvin Crowl of Birmingham, Ala.; 12 grandchildren and give great-grandchildren. © The News and Courier, Charleston, SC, 18 Feb 1976
