GERALD J. 'DEMPS' ALLIE
Gerald J. Allie, 88, of N15807 Jack Pine Lane in Amberg, formerly of Two Rivers, died Tuesday morning, July 28, 2009, at Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Demps was born in Two Rivers on August 23, 1920, son of the late Albert and Elmere (Arpin) Allie. He served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Demps worked at Hamilton Manufacturing Co. and later became a commercial fisherman.

Demps is predeceased by his sister: Imelda Job; and his brother: John "Jack" Allie.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at Knollwood Chapel, Wisconsin 310, town of Kossuth. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt. Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, and
Gerald will be laid to rest immediately following the memorial service in the Veterans Section of Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.

Graveside military honors will be performed by the Two Rivers VFW and American Legion Posts.

The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and All-Care Cremation Center is assisting the Allie family with funeral arrangements.

The family would like to send a special thank you to John and Kelly for all of their help and care given to Demps.
