Helen Dale Pegram, age 90, of Kansas City, MO, passed away July 9, 2014. Funeral to be held 12PM on Monday, July 14, at Floral Hills, with visitation at 11AM. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Helen was born September 15, 1923 in Breckenridge, MO, to George Weaver Dale and Lula Ann Bryant. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Albert R. Pegram; sisters Mildred Maddux, Margaret O'Dell, Ila Jean Sanders, and Betty George Reavis; and niece Joan Cummings. She is survived by her nieces Ann Dale Fisher, Leslie Wise, and Pamela O'Neill; as well as many dear family members and friends. Helen was a member of the Wesley Sunday School class and the Women of Worship circle at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. She was on the Ladies' Auxiliary with the VFW and part of the Bannister Mall Walkers group. She graduated from the Chillicothe Business School and worked at Harry Darby Corporation for 35 years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's United Methodist, 9420 James A Reed Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138.
