Jacqueline J. (Litzinger) McAchren, 78, Somerset, formerly of Somerset Pike, Hollsopple, died Nov. 23, 2007, at Windber Regional Hospice. Born Dec. 4, 1928, in Johnstown, a daughter of Jack and Agnes (Goss) Litzinger. Preceded in death by parents; and husband, Ralph A. on April 11, 2003, whom she married on Feb. 17, 1952. Survived by children, Cheryl, married to James Connor, Hollywood, Md.; LouAnne Mimna, Central City; Nedra, married to Dr. John Ridella, Westmont; Wesley, Bristow, Va.; and Amy Jo Bowser and fiance, Roger Heining Sr., Somerset; grandchildren, Kimberly, William, Johnathan, Matthew, Jamie, Heather, Leigh Anne, Travis, Julie, John, Ashley, Eric, Cory and Tyler; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Pristow, Salem, Ore.; and sister-in-law, Lois DeArmey, Mishawak, Ind. A 1946 graduate of Johnstown High School, owner/operator of former Villa Ann Candies, Jennerstown, past employee of Johnstown Christian School. Member of the Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle, Jennerstown, where she was active in the women’s fellowship. Jackie was also an excellent baker and cook. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at the Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle. The Rev. Gary W. Anderson officiating. Interment Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
