He died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at his residence.
Interment will be in Mineral Springs Cemetery
Mr. Clemts was retired owner of Clemts Hardware for 32 years. He was a member of South Forrest Baptist Church and a MS Army National Guard Veteran. He was a past Master Mason with the Perry Lodge #366 F&AM, a member of the Scottish Rites and the York Rites.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Clemts; parents, Sam & Lucy Clemts; two brothers, Charles Samuel "Sonny Boy" Clemts and Robert Gene Clemts.
He is survived by three sons, Ronnie Clemts (Missy) Dixie Community, Pastor Greg Clemts (Becky) of Vicksburg and Sam Clemts (Charlotte) of Dixie Community; one brother, Billy Frank Clemts of Omaha, NE; twelve grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home and beginning at 10:00 AM Friday at Central Baptist Church.
