Lois Pearl Brannon, 89, a former Granbury resident, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, in Fort Worth. Funeral services for the White Settlement resident are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Normandale Baptist Church. Burial will be in Acton Cemetery.
Lois Pearl Brannon was born Feb. 14, 1916, in Leaday, to John and Mary Matthews.
She married Floy Brannon Dec. 8, 1934 in Winters. They celebrated their 71st anniversary. She was a member of Normandale Baptist Church.
Lois was a LVN having worked at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, Memorial Hospital in Ardmore, Okla. and retired from Granbury Valley View Nursing Home in 1980. She moved to White Settlement in 1985.

Lois was preceded in death by a sister, Opal Matthews; and brother, Lewis Matthews
Survivors are her husband, Floy Brannon; daughters, Monnell Gill and husband, William H. of White Settlement, Floydean Richmond and husband, Randy, of Keller; grandchildren, Billie Rogers and husband, Jack, Carol Bird and husband, Kelly, Kelli Sumer and husband, Gulhan, and Kristi Easterling and husband, Alan; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Johnie Shafer, Mona Baxter, and Mary Fay Holder.
