PROTANI, OPERATED TILE FIRM
A mass of the resurrection for Dominic V. Protani, the owner of the ceramic tile business on Sipple avenue that bears his name, will be offered 9 A.M. today at St. Anthony's Church, 4414 Frankford avenue. Mr. Protani, who was 60, died Sunday at Mercy Hospital after an illness of several months.
Born in Baltimore, Mr. Protani was raised in Little Italy where he attended Catholic grade school. He married the former Bertha D. Frederick in 1933 and lived on Sipple avenue in Northeast Baltimore for more than 25 years. He founded his business in the early 1940's and has operated it recently with the help of his son, Kenneth Protani.
Surviving, besides his wife and son, are a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen White; another son, Daniel D. Protani; and two grandchildren, all of Baltimore.
