The following description is from a letter written by Ellis's youngest son, Donald: "November 28, 1919, 906 W 58 St., Los Angeles, Cal. - "...We had a whole houseful yesterday. There were 14 of us in all and we ate until we were in misery. I believe I told you about my cousin Harry. He is my dad's brother's boy [Frank Ellsworth Hulbert, 1869-1899]. He is 26 or 27, 6 feet 3 inches tall in his stocking feet and only weighs 148. Some boy. We found out he lived in Huntington Park so Roscoe went over to see him and brought him over for Thanksgiving. He acts just like Dad. Quiet and when he says anything everybody smiles."
