Robert Eugene Foxworth, 71, of Colmesneil, Texas, passed away, Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at his residence.

Robert was born March 2, 1943 to Charlie Preston & Willie Mae Dean Foxworth in Woodville, Texas.

He was a longtime resident of Tyler County and was a retired lineman from Southwestern Bell. Robert raised exotic deer, was a hard worker, loved to hunt, but most all he loved to help people. He was really a Jack of all trades and could fix or make just about anything. He had owned & operated his own sawmill and one of the many local projects he had done was the milled wood that is inside of Phil McClure's Furniture store. He had been pastor of Pineywoods Baptist Church and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Willie Mae Foxworth; brothers, Roger Foxworth, Charly Foxworth and Jerry Foxworth.

He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Foxworth, Kathy Eddins and Charla Franco & husband, Leo; brothers, Larry Foxworth & wife, Darlene, Johnny & Tonya Foxworth, Keith Foxworth & wife, Rita and Joe Foxworth & wife, Tonya; sisters, Shirley Sinclair, Ann Wiggins & husband, Jack, Dorothy Stephens, Joan Dies & husband, Freddy and Peggy Chandler; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

Military graveside honor service will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Campground Cemetery near Woodville.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
