Mrs. Emma Tillstrom, 81, 560 Cherry street, died a
Monday afternoon at Mercy hospital. Born Sept. 24, 1867, in Floda county, Sodermaland, Sweden, she came to the United States at the age of 16 years and had resided in this vicinity for the past 50 years She was the widow of the late Frank O. Tillstrom who married her in 1900 at Benton Harbor. He preceded her in death in March. 1945.
Survivors include four children. Ivar Tillstrom, at home, E. J. Tillstrom of Benton Harbor, Dr. B. F. Tillstrom of Chicago, and Mrs. William Robinson, Detroit; four grandchildren, Mrs. Marene Offerman of Benton Harbor, Mrs. Bun Baldwin, Jr., of Bridgman, Richard W. Tillstorm of Grand Rapids and Burr Tillstrom of Chicago; six great- grandchildren, and a niece, Mrs. Paul Armstrong of Chicago, who is the wife of Col. Pau! Armstrong.
