The funeral for Ella J. Larson, 76, Binford, N.D., will be at 2 Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Binford, with burial in Glenfield, N.D. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 today in Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home, Coopersstown, N.D. She died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1992 Ella J. Walen was born July 24, 1916, in Glenfield, where she grew up and attended school, graduating from Glenfield High School in 1936. She worked in Minneapolis for a time and later returned to the Binford and McHenry, N.D., area. On June 9, 1940 she married Clarence Briss in McHenry. They farmed in the McHenry and Binford area until his death in 1962. She married Sievert Larson in the 60's, ended in divorce.
On Oct. 20, 1973, she married Helmer Larson in Binford.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Loren Briss and Donald Briss, both Binford; two daughters, Carol (Mrs. Manley) Miller and Avis (Mrs. Orville) Pittenger, both Binford; four brothers, Harry, August and Maynard, all Cooperstown, and Albert, Fargo; two sisters, Alice (Mrs. Robert) Briss, Cooperstown, and Lavina (Mrs. Earl) Kline, Foley, Minn.; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
