MRS. MARY A. GOHN DIES AT HOME NEAR NEW BRIDGEVILLE
New Bridgeville, June 3.--Mrs Mary A Gohn, widow of Andrew Gohn, died at 6 o’clock Saturday morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Blouse, Red Lion R D 1, near here. Death was caused by a complication of diseases and infirmaties incidental to advanced age.
She was 81 years and 11 months old and leaves the following sons and daughters: Cyrus Gohn Felton RD; Elmer Gohn, Red Lion RD 1; Mrs. Harry Blouse, at whose home she died; Mrs. Elmer Arnold and Horace Gohn, York; Mrs. Zenith Markel, Felton RD 2, and Latimer Gohn, York. She also leaves a brother, Wiley W. Sawmiller, Red Lion R.D. 1, and the following sisters: Mrs. Philip Snyder, Dallastown; Mrs. Henry Bull, York; Mrs. Christopher Smeltzer and Mrs. Charles Rawheiser, Red Lion.
The funeral will be Tuesday morning at 9:30 o’clock. A brief service will be held at the Blouse home, after which the cortage will proceed to St Luke’s Lutheran church, near this place, of which the deceased was a member, where concluding services will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. W. E. Waybright. Burial will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church. The funeral will be in charge of Funeral Director Furnace B. Olewiler, Red Lion.
