Aaron Keith Adkison, 54, of Las Vegas, passed away July 4, 2014. He was born Dec. 17, 1959, to Jerome Adkison and Jeannette Adkison, in Long Beach, Calif., and was a 42-year resident of Nevada. Aaron had two siblings, his brothers, Micheal Adkison and Tony Adkison. He moved to Las Vegas when he was 12 with his family. He was a carpenter foreman, retiring at age 49 and member of Carpenters Union Local 1977 for 35 years. Aaron loved his family and dogs more than anything in the world. He was a good man and had a heart of gold. Aaron was preceded in death by his younger brother, Tony Adkison; and grandparents. Aaron is survived by his father, Jerome Adkison; mother, Jeannette Adkison; brother, Micheal Adkison; son, Jason Adkison; daughter, Shayna Adkison; and grandchildren, Sage Stevens, Noah Adkison, Mikayla Adkison and Jaiden Adkison. Viewing will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, July 11, with memorial services following, both at Abundent Grace Church, 2690 N. Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89108. Graveside services following at 2:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
