MRS. W. GLISMAN DIES AT THE M. S. BIRNEL HOME

Mrs. Will Glisman, sister of Mr. M. S. Birnel; died at his home west of town Tuesday Afternoon, following a month’s illness. In company with her husband she had been to Rochester, Minn., to seek medical assistance at the Mayo hospital, but they were unable to help her and sent her home. They got as far as Minot when she became too ill to proceed further and was taken from the train at that point on July Fourth and brought to the home of her brother. The cause of her death was a nervous breakdown from overwork nursing patients suffering from influenza. She was a good nurse and a tireless worker and when the influenza epidemic was on at Williston last fall and winter she worked very hard and this spring nursed a very difficult pneumonia case following influenza and soon afterwards she took sick with nervous trouble and grew gradually worse, her death being caused by cerebral apoplexy.

The funeral service will be held at the Baptist church in Glenburn this Thursday afternoon at 2:30, and interment will be in the Fairview cemetery, it being her request that she be buried here in preference to having her body taken to her home at Williston. The Odd Fellows have charge of the funeral, the deceased having been a member Of the Rebekah lodge. Mrs. Della Birnel-Glisman came to Williston from Missouri in 1902 with her husband and has resided there ever since. She is survived by her husband, four children at home, the youngest being a girl of twelve years, and a married daughter, Mrs. Viola Straight, of Pulaski, Iowa, her brother M. S. Birnel, of Glenburn, and another brother, Melvin, Moore, Mont., and three sisters.

The deceased was born March 15, 1873 in Morgan county, Missouri, and resided there until coming to this state.
