Leon Bigelow, 80, of Emmett, Idaho, passed away on Friday July 4, 2014 at home of natural causes. He was born in Greenfield, Missouri, the youngest son of Walter and Hazel (Shaffer) Bigelow. When Leon was 16, he moved to Idaho. He worked for Little's Sheep Ranch, Boise Cascade Sawmill, and trimmed many trees in Emmett. He is survived by his loving wife Connie, sons Jerry, Gary (Kathy), and daughter Judy, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 sisters; Jane, Naomi and Jewell. He was preceded in death by his daughter Susan, parents, and 4 brothers; Walt, Owen, Paul, and Glen. There will be a memorial potluck gathering at Leon's home on Saturday, July 12, starting at 1:00 pm and going into the afternoon for friends and family.
