Patrick O'BRIEN was an anti-treaty IRA soldier during the Irish Civil War. He was 4th Battalion, Dublin Brigade, IRA.
He was shot dead while trying to blow up a cinema in Sackville St. Dublin. It was to to enforce a republican ban on public entertainment in protest of the executions of IRA men in Kerry
