Ann J. Poissant, age 83, of Adrian, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Lenawee Medical Care Facility. She was born September 22, 1930, in Detroit to Eugene and Ellen (Gendron) Rassette. She was married to Laurence Poissant on Aug 13, 1962 and he preceded her in death. Ann had been employed by Dubois Flower Shop in Brooklyn. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting, and needle point.

Ann is survived by [living persons redacted, per FAG policy]; two sisters, Jeanette (Jack) Linahan of Manistee, Michigan and [living person redacted]; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Laurence, she was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; two brothers; and two daughters, Annette and Mary Faith.

The Funeral Liturgy for Ann will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Shrine Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian where there will be a Vigil Prayer Service held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A family prayer service will be held at 10:45 followed by the funeral liturgy at 11:00 a.m. St. Joseph Catholic Church.
