Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Vinnie Frances Roy who died at her home in Faubush Saturday after an illness of three weeks.

Mrs. Roy was born March 15, 1916 at Faubush, the daughter of Harrison and Jeannie Roberts Flynn, and spent her entire life in Pulaski County. She was a member of the Faubush Church of the Nazarene and attended church faithfully so long as her health permitted.

On December 16, 1938, she was united in marriage to Avery Roy, and to the union one daughter, Joanna Roy, was born.

In addition to her husband and daughter, Mrs. Roy is survived by two brothers, Clifford Flynn, Faubush and Kenneth Flynn, St. Petersburg, Florida and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Bryan, Lexington and Mrs. Christine Smith, Somerset.

Funeral services were held at the Faubush Church of the Nazarene Monday at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Oscar Lobb and the Rev. Ernest Farris officiating. Burial was in the Weddle Cemetery.
