Jean Baptiste Louis Burton and Eulalie "Julie" Beaudreau are his parents,he married in Maple Creek, part of New London, on 2 Feb 1873 to Marcelline Z Anthony/St. Antoine. It is assumed but not proven that they married in German Evangelical Christ Church in Maple Creek.

They are the parents of fourteen children all born in either Northport,or Mukwa,Waupaca Co.,Maple Creek, Deer Creek, Outagamie Co..
