Succumbs at 74
HUDSONVILLE - William J. Koopman, 74, formerly of Zutphen, died Saturday night in Vicksburg, Mich. He had been in ill health for some time.
Surviving are a son, Alvin of Wyoming; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Peter Datema of Grand Rapids; a sister-in-law, Mrs. John Koopman of Wyoming, and a brother-in-law, Henry Assink of Holland.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Vander Laan funeral home in Hudsonville with the Rev. Otto De Groot officiating. Burial will be in Zutphen cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
