Married Alvina Bateman, 1893, Logan Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Served three-year church mission in Society Islands in Pacific. Lived at Sandy, Utah, then homesteaded in Raft River area; moved to Rupert in 1918, where he farmed and was in real estate and dairy business. Moved to Burley in 1941. Survivors: widow; sons, Frank, Salt Lake City; Stanley, La Cresenta, Calif.; daughters, Mrs. Vern, McCulloch and Mrs. Orland Bateman, Burley; Mrs. M.W. Whitaker, Long Beach, Calif.; 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren."
