Born Feb. 7, 1898, in Green Lake County, he was the son of Joseph and Stella Pawlowski Lemiesz. He attended local schools and lived his entire life in the Ripon area and farmed in the area. He married Mayme Haase Oct. 8, 1935, at Ripon and was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon.
Mr. Lemiesz is survived by his widow; one son, Leo of Oshkosh, three brothers, Louis and Walter both of Ripon and Frank of Oshkosh; one sister, Mrs. Bernice Wanilsta of Fox Lake; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon, the Rev. John A Mikolajczyk officiating.
Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Ripon.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at Speier Funeral Home, Ripon.
