AFTERNOON WEDDING
Miss Anna Jeanette Harrison was married to Norman Winfield Reed yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock in Trinity M. E. church, with Dr. S. D. Hutsinpillar as the officiating clergyman. Only a few close relatives were present at the wedding. The couple left on their honeymoon immediately afterward and on their return will make their home in Berkeley.
The Bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. [William] Caroline Harrison, formerly of Meadville. PA. She is a graduate of Allegany college and at that time was considered one of the most brilliant students, receiving a degree from that university. She is a graduate of the Eastern conservatory of music and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society. Since making her residence in Berkeley, Miss Harrison has taken up the study of languages, having done post-graduate work at the University of California.
Reed is the son of Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Reed, a pioneer family of Santa Barbara. He is a graduate of the class of 1906 from the University of California. At present he is engaged in business in San Francisco, in engineering work for the San Francisco board of fire underwriters.

CANOGA PARK - Mrs. Anna Jeanette Reed, a former resident of 960 Thompson Lane, Petaluma, died Aug. 22 in a Canoga Park convalescent hospital after an illness of several years.
Mrs. Reed was born March 2, 1881 in Union City, Pa. She graduated from Allegheny College and belonged to Phi Beta Kappa. After coming to California she did three years of post graduate work at University of California, specializing in Latin, Greek and English.
A teacher for many years, she taught in high schools and college in Pittsburgh, Pa., Berkeley, and San Francisco.
She and her husband, the late Norman W. Reed, came to Petaluma in 1915 and established their home on Thompson Lane.
Survivors include several cousins.
Internment was at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma.
