Alexander, Ralph Evans "Jack" 88 of Tipp City passed away Sunday October 24, 2010 at his daughter's home in Tipp City. .
Born July 24, 1922 in Tippecanoe City, Ohio to the late Ralph Wayne and Isabell {Evans} Alexander.
Preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Dolores "Pat" {Patterson} Alexander in 1990.
Survived by his daughter; Jill and her husband Steve Heffner, Tipp City, grandchildren; Tony and his wife Amanda Heffner, New Albany, OH, Jenny and her husband Rob Hiler, Tipp City, step sisters; Joan (Jim) McKinzie, Tipp City and Carol (John) Mano, Plumville, PA.
"Jack" was a 1941 graduate of Tippecanoe High School, a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Army, and was retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base where he worked as a procurement officer. He was a member of American Legion Post 586 in Tipp City, VFW Post 9582 in Vandalia, Tipp City United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for Tipp Needy Basket.
Jack retired to Bradenton, FL but had returned to Tipp City. He loved playing golf and enjoyed spending time at Indian Lake with and his daughter and her family and his good friend "Mr. Mead". .
Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday October 28, 2010 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, Ohio 45371, Pastor Bonita Wood officiating, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation 5 to 8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Jacks name to; The First Tee Youth Golf Program in care of the funeral home.
