Mrs. Sikes was the owner of the Casual Beauty Shop in Jefferson for over 40 years and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. She was a member and former President of the Optimist Club, a member of J.A.B.A, the Jackson County Food Bank, and the Thursday Night Bridge Club. Mrs. Sikes was also a former President of the Jefferson Little League Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edwards Sikes; son, David Seabolt; and brother, Joseph Henry Allen.
