Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 5th at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton with Pastor Rick Britton in charge of services. Burial in the Old St. Peter Cemetery in rural Newton.

She worked at the Loami, IL Post Office for a number of years as well as belonging to the Household Science Club, and being a homemaker. She married Steven H. Gosnell on June 16th, 1979 and he preceded her in death on May 24th, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Steven Bunton.
Susan is survived by her mother-in-law, Avanell Gosnell of Newton, IL, 3 sons- Sheldon A. Gosnell of Casey, IL; Matthew H. Gosnell of Newton, IL and Chad Bunton of Newton, IL. Brothers- Edward Bunton of Robinson and Tim Bunton of Oklahoma.
