A native of New Brunswick, Ind., he moved with his family to Spickard, Mo. in 1884 where he grew up. He married Rose Wilburn in 1912 and they moved to Lodi in 1920 and were active members of the First Christian Church.
He worked for several ranchers in the area and at Foster and Woods Cannery from which he retired in 1949. His wife preceded him in death in 1962.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Bertha Dinsmore of Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Gierhart and Wells Funeral Home with Rev. I.H. Witt officiating.
Entombment will be in Lodi Mausoleum.
