Emma Catherine (Airesman) Gardner, 74, of Manchester, Tenn., formerly of Somerset died July 3, 1996 at her residence. Born Sept. 10, 1922, in Lincoln Twp., the daughter of Clark and Ida (Faidley) Airesman. Preceded in death by parents; grandson, Dwaine Gardner; brother, Roy Airesman; and two sisters, Arlene and Gloria. Survived by husband, William Gardner, to whom she would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 22; and the following children: Mrs. Fred (Patricia) Holmerts of Illinois, Roger Gardner and Mrs. Don (Pam) Vickers of Tennessee, Dwight (Peggy) Gardner of Boswell, Daniel (Eva) Gardner of Ohio, Dennis Gardner, and Bryan (Yolanda) Gardner of Alaska; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Sister of Ray Airesman, Dolores Airesman Gnegy, of Somerset, Floyd Airesman of Berlin and Shirley Airesman Brocht of Rockwood. Services will be conducted Monday in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
