She was the first wife of Benjamin Clark Harmon who died in 1946. On 22 November 1947 in Wytheville, Virginia, Nora, as a widow, married Samuel Washington Grubb.
At the time of her death in Sumter, she was the wife of Clay Brown Hoback whom she married on 04 August 1960 in Alleghany, North Carolina.
Surviving are 5 daughters; 1 son; and a sister.
