He was the son of James and Esther Yousephian (Yousefian) Asadourian. They at lived at 1514 Melon Street in Philadelphia. He died of emphysema at age 14 months at the Children's Hospital at 14th & Bainbridge Streets. Just the week before a relative Frank Asadourian had died, Karnig was buried in the same grave at Mt. Moriah.
