He died June 30, 2014 at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Mo.
He was born on August 25, 1943 in Mexico, Missouri the son of Carl E. and Eunice Surber Adams. He was employed with General Cable Corporation in Monticello, Illinois for thirty years. He was also a volunteer fireman, a member of the Lions Club and the Bootkickers all in Illinois. He and his wife moved to Ridgedale, Mo. in 1998 and he had been a ride attendant at Silver Dollar City for eleven years. He was a member of the Ozark Mountain Community Church near Blue Eye, Missouri. He loved to fish and tole painting. He was united in marriage to Sharon Hager on September 14, 1963 in Mexico, Missouri and to this union was born three children.
Survivors are his wife: Sharon Hager Adams. Two daughters, Terrie Monfort and Tina Kluesner, a brother, Larry Adams and a sister, Shirley Sudbrock. Eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ted Adams.
