Edward was born June 4, 1932, in Cedar City, Utah, to Fredrick Tolaf and Eliza "Ellen" Barnett Evensen. He served his country in the United States Navy. On June 12, 1953, he married Norma Rae Bracken in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He retired as a manager of Allen's Food Town in American Fork, Utah. He also worked for Covenant Communications. Edward James Marvin Evensen passed away June 29, 2014, in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He was 82.
Survived By: His wife, Norma; his children: Carol Ann (Randy) Hardman, Pamela Kay Moe, Debra Lynn Evensen, Terri Lee (Steven) Bendixsen, Lloyd Edward (Marie) Evensen, Sally Marie Evensen, Fred A (Lar) Evensen; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; siblings: Ruth Broadbent and Melvin Evensen.
Preceded In Death By: His parents; a daughter, Dawna; two sons-in-law, George and Leon; two sisters and a brother.
