Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Susanna Wells, 83, who died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oscar Atkinson in Bakersfield, Mo., were held at Bakersfield Wednesday morning with the Rev. Carl Davis officiating. Burial was in the Murray Cemetery near Ava, Mo., with arrangements under the direction of the Roller-Barber Funeral Service.
Mrs. Wells was born in Iron County, Mo., but spent most of her life in Baxter county. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Datson Wells of Mountain Home, and Bennie Wells of Bloomington, Ill., two daughters, Mrs. Corbin Bond of Springfield, Mo., and Mrs. Oscar Atkinson of Bakersfield; two brothers, 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
