Lucetta Groh, daughter of John Groh and Lydia Feick, first married in 1862 Pvt. Reuben Beecher, who died at Gettysburg on 26 Jul 1863. They had one child, Reuben F. Beicher, who was 2 months old at the time of his father's death. Lucetta in the 1850 census is in Albany Township, Berks County, with her parents. In the 1860 census, Lucetta is living with her brother Israel in the home of her mother's parents, grandfather Michael Feick (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/31020612). Lucetta in the 1870 census is living with son Reuben Beecher as the wife of second husband, Jacob Pott. In 1880 and 1900 census she is the wife of Samuel Blottenberger. On her death certificate in 1909 she is identified as Lucetta Blottenberger, buried at Bismarck Cemetery, the daughter of John Groh and Lydia Fike (Feick). Her son Reuben F. Beicher's death certificate identifies his mother as Lucetta Groh. Regarding Beecher/Beicher surnames, members of this Beecher branch sometimes adopted the Beicher spelling.
