Funeral services for Mrs. Wenonah Sue Pollard, 96, of Delhi will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Cox Funeral Chapel in Delhi with Dr. Marcus Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe under the direction of Cox Funeral Home. Mrs. Pollard died Sunday, February 24, 2008 at her daughters residence in Monroe following a brief illness. Visitation will be held from 5-7PM Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi. Mrs. Pollard was a native of Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jess Edwin McClanahan and Fannie Copeland McClanahan; her husband, William Earl Pollard and a daughter, Sue Pollard Timmons. Mrs. Pollard is survived by one daughter, Kay Pollard Ellis and her husband Albert of Monroe; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Drew Timmons, Bill Ellis, Joe Ellis, Don Ostrander, Ryan Ostrander, Joeseph Ellis, Steven Ellis and Cole Chisnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Gage Edwin Ellis and Brandon Orso.
