June E. (Everett) Davis, 33, of North Springfield, Virginia, wife of Major Richard W. Davis, Jr., died Wednesday in a Washington, D.C., hospital after a long illness.
A native of New York, she lived in Assonet for several years, before leaving there to travel with her husband to Army posts in this country and Europe.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1 PM in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River Massachusetts. Interment will be in Assonet Burying Ground.
