She was born May 12, 1928 in Dalton City, Illinois, to Ellis and Luella (Kennedy) Davidson. She married Russell Wait Broughton on June 5, 1949 in Dalton City. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are her son, Michael David (Jan) Broughton; daughter, Mary Beth (Dennis) Bennett; brother, Charles (Betty) Davidson; brother-in-law, Stanley I. Broughton; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
