Services for Eddie Lee Jones, 72, of Mt. Pleasant, who died on Wednesday, May 29, 1991, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, were held on Saturday, June 1, at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville.
The service was conducted by Bro. B. B. James, and was followed by burial in Palestine Cemetrey in Hohenwald.
A native of Gordonsburg, Tenn., Mrs Jones was a daughter of the late Sam H. and Dorothy Johnson {sic} Jones. She was a factory laborer. She leaves her daughter, Dorothy Coleman of Centerville, her grandson, her step-grandson, two great grandchildren and seven step-great-great grandchildren."

After the death of Eddie Lee's mother, Dorothy, when Eddie Lee was only age seven , she went to live with the family of A. P. Rosson, who raised her until she married 29 Aug 1936.
