He was born September 15, 1932 in Chicopee, Massachusetts, son of the late Joseph James and Helen Byrnes Dunn.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he had retired after a career in the Navy. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, liked to play golf, and loved Navy football.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ellen Moriarity.
A Memorial Mass will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 30, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church by Fr. Rolo Castillo. Interment will be in Massachusetts at a later date.
There will be no formal receiving of friends.
