Youngest of nine children born to Samuel Benjamin Pippin and Onie Lee Ansley Pippin. Graduate Antler Oklahoma High School. US Army and Air Force Veteran; Retired Major. Married Pauline Margaret Terry on July 19, 1942 in Denver Colorado, fathering two children. Attended the Church of Christ in Denver, Colorado in the early 1970s.

Preceded in death by wife, daughter Reba Louise Pippin, parents and all siblings: Sam, Homer, Pearl, Bettie, Christine, Ada and Helen.
