Roy was a generous man, who loved his family deeply and was very devoted to them. He was the owner of The Gastonia Trading Post. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #462 of Cramerton. He was a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves and he enjoyed fishing.
Roy is survived by: his loving wife of over 44 years, Gloria "Tinker" Bryson; sons, Doug and Robbie Bryson; brothers, Buck Bryson (Claudette), Booty Bryson(Barbara), Larry Bryson (Carol), Gene Bryson; sisters, Linda Neikirk, Brenda Queen (Jimmy), Glenda Singleton (Mike);randchildren, Robbie Lee Bryson,Brandon Bryson, Jacob Bryson; special pet, Cocoa; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Heather, Carri, Brooke and Cameron.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: sister, Betty Morris.
Funeral:Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia officiated by Rev. Jerry Millwood.
Interment:Gaston Memorial Park Mausoleum, Gastonia with full masonic burial rites.
