SUSAN (BELTRANO) ASADOORIAN

Susan Asadoorian, who worked as a waitress at several local restaurants for 30 years, died Thursday (May 29, 2003) in her home after a brief illness. She was 82.

Born Susan Beltrano in Niagara Falls, she attended local schools and was a lifelong resident of the city.

She began her waitressing career in the 1950s at Louie's Restaurant. She then worked, in turn, at the Alps Restaurant on Military Road, the downtown Niagara Club and the Como Restaurant on Pine Avenue. She retired in 1980.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Aram of Niagara Falls; two daughters, Darlene S. Lindsay and Debbie A. Pucci, both of the Town of Niagara; a brother, John Beltrano, and a sister, Josephine Yankelunas, both of Niagara Falls; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. today in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1413 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
