Mrs. Juanita Lockett Crump, 84, of Waco, passed away early Sunday morning at her home. Services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17, at North Waco Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul G. Smith officiating, assisted by the Rev. Nathan Booth and the Rev. David Ritsema. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park.
Mrs. Crump was born on Dec. 25, 1918, in Pittsburg to James Edward and Clara Belle (Kimball) Lockett. She was married in Sulphur Springs on April 15, 1939, to William R. Crump, and she and her husband have lived in Waco for over 60 years. She was retired from Owens Illinois Glass Plant after 32 years. The Crumps are longtime members of the North Waco Baptist Church, and enjoyed being members of the Faith Sunday School Class there. She was especially known for her craftsmanship, and crocheted many beautiful blankets and gifts for family members and friends.
Mrs. Crump is survived by her husband of 63 years, William Robert Crump; sister, Mrs. Jennie V. Tadlock of Waco and her husband John; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was precede in death by her parents and her brothers, William Lockett, who passed away Sept 14, 2002, and James B. Lockett, who passed away Dec 19, 1972.
